Dear V-hop Heads, Welcome to a new ipisode. This is my Album reviews of Older music, I noticed I had been talking more so about "recent" or at the very least pretty New Underground music. I know that means older fans of hip-hop think I am being one sided...and ya know what you were right.
SO I can give you people on up to date, I have decided to write you people maybe 2 reviews a week, some thing new, and Something old. I will also review a few movies, and get into the Politics of music...I have been laying low, and just watching the curve of things..
With that said I will kick this intro off with an album review of....."Ice Cube: Lethal injection"
The Lead single from this album is the Ice Cube/Gerorge Clinton/Parliment funkadelic team up for "Bop Gun (One nation), the song was has and is going to pretty much remain a classic at least as far as for its rememeberance. But the track that follows "What can I do?" Ice cube always had lyrics that could be rrealized for what it was..blatant honesty. Back when music Tried to be more about a movement,. The Music wasn't near as ahead of its time as his work with n.W.A., but after the success of "Bop Gun (one nation)" the commercial appeal for Ice Cube picked up....his attitude created him a role in the movie "Boyz N the hood" which like Menace II society, shhook a realization into the eyes of america.
Ice cube has remained a ever present force in the music realm with his collabs, and role as a leader in Hip_Hop histroy.
