KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After fulfilling their obligations under a two-album contract with Tech N9ne's record label Strange Music, iconic hip-hop duo Skatterman and Snug Brim are headed in a new direction.

The pair have started a new project, Bigg Shot Music & Films. Skatterman is Bigg Shot's President and CEO, while Snug Brim will handle the creative, A&R side of the business.

Bigg Shot just signed a two-album distribution deal with RYKO/Warner Bros.
On September 1, Bigg Shot will release Skatterman and Snug Brim's third album, "Perseverance."

"We'll always have love for Tech -- there's no animosity in this decision," Skatterman says. "We respect and appreciate everything we learned from our time with Strange Music. Now it's time to see where we can go on our own."

Expect big things from Skatterman and Snug Brim in 2009!
