Phatsette_Ninjette said… - 2008 was a horrible year for me. The only thing I was able to achieve this year was getting certified to be a Sound Engineer/Stage Manager. I wasn't able to achieve my goal actually going on tour. I work my butt off. Ya I'm emotional sometimes but what girl isn't? But if i'm challenged, I'll except the challenge. (ANY Challenge. Bring it on!) You can call up the studio/workshop that I work for and everyone that has worked with me will tell you, if someone says I can't do something I'll prove them wrong. My instructor for the live sound & staging workshop, said I wouldn't be able to ring out the drummer's head set past a certain volume. (Ring out is feedback) But I did, James (the instructor) was completely amazed. The whole point is, no one will give me a chance to prove myself and no one will ever know that I'm actually good at it. Oh well, hopefully I'll get a tour position this year.
